There is no one-size-fits-all procedure
A battery’s chemistry and condition determine what maintenance is appropriate. Trojan describes equalization for flooded lead-acid batteries under specific conditions. That is not a universal procedure for all batteries.
Ask what the guide actually teaches
Request a table of contents, supported battery types, required equipment, realistic costs and the author’s technical qualifications. Look for independent results with documented methods rather than a recovery claim with no test details.
Treat universal revival claims carefully
Energizer advises against recharging batteries that are not labeled rechargeable. Damaged batteries also need handling consistent with their manufacturer’s guidance. A generic promise of restoring any battery is not enough evidence to attempt a procedure.
