Planning note
Start with your essentials, before choosing a backup battery.
List the devices you want to keep on and their operating time. The worked evening example uses 290 Wh at the devices and reaches an estimated 500 Wh planning target after stated losses, inverter overhead and reserve. Output and startup compatibility need separate checks.
A first look at the illustrated guide and household notebook.
The current kit combines a 26-page illustrated guide with a 24-page fillable notebook in four print editions. The free four-page sample contains the cover, plug-in meter example, evening energy example and hurricane planning page. The full kit is available for $30 USD as a one-time purchase, with access to future kit updates and companion guides when published.
Future kit updates and companion guides will be announced here. Companion guides are planned; none have been released beyond the current kit. Customers can download the current kit and future included releases from their personal library.
